Rahul Agrawal has over 20 years of experience in strategy development and investment planning with expertise in the social development sector. Prior to joining Intellecap, he was the Director at NRMC, an evidence-based impact advisory, and research firm. His entrepreneurial zeal is guided by the belief that creative disruption through constant innovation is the key to creating large-scale impact. In the development sector, Rahul is committed to applying innovative management approaches in solving complex human development issues with an aim to design programs and processes that enable inclusive growth. Over the last two decades, Rahul has led on projects worth over a billion dollars, paving the way for innovative and adaptable solutions for various development challenges. Rahul is passionate about redefining development narratives to design and curate solutions to drive development beyond addressing marginalization. In his past experience, Rahul has designed and executed greenfield projects in the areas of health and education. Rahul has led on UN and other multilateral/ bilateral agencies supported evaluations on infant and young child nutrition, maternal nutrition, micronutrient supplementation and fortification, child rights and child protection, adolescent health and wellbeing, education. He has been a lead evaluator of the Joint UNICEF-GoB Nutrition Programme and the WFP School Feeding Programme in Bangladesh.
Engaging with governments, development finance institutions, civil society organizations, corporates, and foundations in India and South Asia, and South East Asia, he has provided technical and program management advisory to numerous stakeholders, with a strong focus on forging partnerships. He was also nominated as one of the 100 Influencers in India’s Impact Sector in 2018 by Action for India.
Jayesh Bhatia

Jayesh Bhatia has over 29 years of experience in the natural resources management and the rural development sector. With post graduate degrees from the prestigious Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal and University of Oxford, Jayesh has worked with a range of organisations and institutions in India. Jayesh is a strategic thinker, problem solver and a leading voice in the social development sector, especially in augmenting livelihoods for the underserved communities. Jayesh established and scaled NR Management Consultants India Pvt Ltd. NRMC India as a leading development support organisation working extensively in the rural and social development sector in India. Jayesh is adept at scaling up successful pilots across the range of sectors- NRM, WASH, and Rural Livelihood. He has worked extensively with UN organisations, JICA, DFID, the World Bank, State Government departments and Ministries of Government of India. He has also led and coordinated multi-cultural and multi-agency teams in delivering complex assignments for various donors in India, South-East and South Asia and Africa. As a catalyst for social impact, Jayesh strongly believes in people’s participation in framing policies and has worked on promoting and communicating policy change by working closely with governments, international organizations, donors, NGOs and communities. Jayesh was awarded the Mitchell Young Scholar award by HARC’s Center for Global Studies and Rice University’s Energy and Environmental Systems Institute to explore the transition to sustainable development.
Shailesh Nagar

He has helped various agencies (including Save the Children and Breakthrough Trust) in designing projects related to child rights and adolescent empowerment. He has also led various monitoring and evaluation projects which are experimental and quasi experimental in design. He has used mixed method approaches and participatory research techniques to enhance learning for the projects, policies and other stakeholders. In the past Shailesh has worked with UN organisations including UNICEF, IKEA Foundation, Breakthrough, Save the Children and multiple Government agencies.
He is an alumnus of University of Cambridge, UK; Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal; and has been a Shell-Chevening scholar. His current interest areas are climate change adaptation especially in forestry and agriculture sector, bio-energy and rural livelihoods; and disaster management.

Ajay Kumar holds a MBA degree with specialization in Finance and Administration from Bhagalpur University.

His support to organizations include procurement, contract management and vendor development among other things.
He has managed various Human Resource Management (HRM) projects, wherein he has provided administrative support to various government and non-government organizations such as Nutrition International, Ministry of Minorities Affairs (MoMA), Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA), Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation (MDWS), Uttarakhand Forest Resource Management Project (UFRMP), Nagaland Forest Management Project (NFMP) and Project for Sustainable Catchment Forest Management in Tripura (SCATFORM).
Being a strong planner with ability to work independently, “can-do” attitude, he has successfully setup new administrative operations across various cities of India including procurement of manpower and services.
Shivangi Rai

Shivangi has also extensively worked on and independently led multiple medium to large scale impact evaluations, situational analysis and needs assessments for multilateral agencies such as UN Women and corporate social responsibility clients such as Vedanta Foundation, Ikea Foundation, Axis Bank Foundation to name a few.
Prior to her experience as a development sector consultant, Shivangi co-founded a not-for-profit organization in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – Sarthak Foundation. Sarthak works on providing after school support to children living in slums of Lucknow by improving their access to quality learning and essential life skills. Currently the organization works with over 1000 children in Lucknow and also runs a low-cost primary school in one of the remote villages of Sitapur district. Shivangi has a bachelor’s in economics from Lucknow University and master’s degree in management.

Mrinalini Mazumdar

Mrinalini has worked closely on various thematic areas such as Social Exclusion, Gender, Child Rights, Adolescent Empowerment, Health and Nutrition, Urban Poverty, Labour Rights, Migration, as well as life skills development. She has worked with multilateral and bi-lateral organizations such as UN Women, UNICEF, World Food Programme, IKEA Foundation and Breakthrough Trust. As a gender expert, Mrinalini has been part of evaluation teams conducting numerous strategic and summative evaluations in South and South East Asia.
Her true passion remains her ethnographic work on the transgender population of India, as she continues to apply and adapt various frameworks and approaches to understand and analyse the underlying factors and implications of gender discrimination, social exclusion and violence.
Mrinalini has been instrumental in setting up Nil, a social impact lab that uses design thinking principles to develop impactful behavioural solutions.
Mrinalini is currently also a Visiting Faculty at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, teaching Cultural Anthropology and Visual Culture.
Mrinalini completed her post-graduation in Community Organization and Development Practice at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She has also been a scholar at the University of Chicago, wherein she studied community development, development economics, public policy and refugee studies as part of a prestigious scholarship programme.
Animesh Sharma

Animesh was instrumental in setting up Nil, a social impact lab that uses design thinking principles to develop impactful behavioral solutions. In the past, he has worked closely with clients like UNICEF, WFP, JHU CCP, Breakthrough Trust, TRIf, SwissAid, BMGF and FHI360. He is currently involved in developing empathy-led transformational solutions for subsistence farmers, adolescent boys as-well-as retail and wholesale traders.
Animesh specialises in unpacking socio-cultural contexts and constructing behavioural narratives for designing behavioural solutions, and using innovative experiential and observational techniques for testing such solutions. He possesses rich experience of using experimental and quasi-experimental research designs for evaluating social impact.
Prior to joining Intellecap, Animesh was working with NRMC and BBC Media Action, India. He has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from LBSIM – Delhi, and Bachelor in Commerce from University of Delhi.
Pranab R Choudhury

Apart from engaging on policy and action research with governments, the World Bank, donors and national and international universities, CLG also organises an annual India Land and Development Conference, an unique land convening in South Asia. Pranab is a nominated member of the executive committee of Green India Mission of Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change of Government of India since 2017. His work has been widely published in international peer reviewed journals and has presented papers in international conferences. He also writes in national media and takes land related courses in premier institutes like IIM Ahmedabad and Xavier’s University Bhubaneswar on invitation.
